Displaying Products in the Website

Displaying Products in the Store

Clubistry comes with a Store page already set up for you. You'll find it in the Pages list, called "Store". You can edit it just like any other page, except that the page slug is protected and can't be changed. You can leave this page in the public area of your website, or move it into the Members area or any other part of the site. If you wish to resrict who has access to the store, just use the permissions matrix at the bottom of the edit view to set who has access.

On the Store page, there is already preconfigured an E-Commerce Section under Content. You can set a color for this section, edit the headline, and determine what product categories will be shown in the store. By default this is set to show all categories. You can also limit how many products will show up, but for most stores you'll want to show all your products by default.

You can add oher content sections before or after the E-Commerce Section.

Displaying Products on Other Pages

You can use the same E-Commerce Section on any page in your site to add product displays there. An example of this kind of usage might be for a special event. If you have a page set up for the event, and you have t-shirts and other items related to that event in your store, you can add an E-Commerce Section to the event page that shows only the category you've set up for the items related to the event. This way you'll have the products right on the event page to atract more attention to potential purchasers.
