  • Updated instructional text on user profile form.
  • Add the Role Selection matrix to the User forms in the back end so it's easier to manage and know what roles a user is assigned to. This is at the very bottom of the edit user page. Checking a role assigns it to the user being edited.
    • The Public Role is not visible here, since no one should be assigned to that Role. 
    • Admin Role is hidden from the User Manager, as the User Manager cannot add or remove Admin status from any user. 
    • System Roles are now marked as such. These are required for functionality of the Clubistry system, and cannot be removed. This will differentiate the system roles from those created by clubs for their own needs, and from the roles created as membership types.
  • Roster now sorts by Last Name, First Name.
  • Roster now shows Board Positions where appropriate.
  • User Import will now assign every member the Member Role.
  • Corrected an issue with sorting tertiary level pages in navigation. 
  • Fixed the issue in text editors where the text color & background color picker wasn't displaying correctly all the time.

  • Applications system in place, with the following.
    • When Admin is creating a new application type, certain fields will be added by default. This is currently First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Country, Address, Address 2, City, State, Postal Code. These are currently the fields that transfer to the User account when applications are approved.
    • New pages added to the front-end site which handle specific functionalities for different steps of the application process. These pages are protected, and cannot be deleted or have their slug edited.
    • Email address is used as unique field to determine if user is already in the system. New users will be asked to confirm their email address for validity.
    • Emails are sent out by the system when an applicant submits an application. If applicant is new, an email is sent out to verify email address. Once email address is confirmed, or if user is already in the system, an email is sent to confirm submission of an application, and provide the link for editing the application if needed. When an applicant is approved, another email goes out to alert the user that the application is approved and provide instructions for setting a password and logging in.
    • Application Manager and other approved members can view submitted applications. The page for doing this is currently in the Board restricted area of the website. This page allows for filtering of applications to see only those relevant.
    • Only Application Manager can change the status of applications, including moving them to In Review when ready, and to Approved or Declined once they've been voted on by the club's internal process.
    • When applications are approved, the user is moved into the User list. New members will be given the role that is associated with the membership type they were approved for. Existing members changing membership type will have their role updated appropriately.

  • Add Member and Board roles to the Protected Roles list so they can't be removed.
  • When User is assigned to a Board Position, they are automatically assigned the Board role. The role assignment is removed when a user is removed from the Board Position. If the Board Position is deleted, the assignment is removed from the User (if applicable).
  • Board Position list, User field is now searchable, so that it's easier to find a user in the system when there are many users. 
  • The Board Position information has been removed from the User area. To add a User to a Board Position, the Board Position list must now be used.
