Page Content Sections - Photo Album Section

The Photo Album Section displays one saved Photo Album as either a thumbnail grid or a slideshow. The album name becomes the visible heading on the page.

Adding one to a page

  1. Make sure the album is set up and active in Photo Albums.
  2. Open the page and add a Photo Album Section in the content area.
  3. Enter a Section Title (internal only).
  4. Choose a Background Color if needed.
  5. Select the Photo Album from the dropdown (shows active albums only).
  6. Choose a Style:
    • Thumbnail Grid — Square thumbnails that visitors click to open a larger image viewer with next/previous controls.
    • Slideshow — A carousel displayed directly on the page.
  7. For the grid style, choose Thumbnail Options:
    • Cover Square — Fills each thumbnail space, may crop edges.
    • Contained in Square — Shows the full image, may leave open space around it.
  8. Make sure Active is on.
  9. Save and review.

What visitors see

Images display in the order saved on the album. Grid thumbnails show "Click to View Image" on hover and open a modal carousel. Captions appear in the larger viewer when they're saved on the media item. Alt text is used in rendered images.

Tips

  • Name albums carefully — the name becomes the public heading.
  • Use Cover Square for a more uniform grid; Contained in Square when you don't want important parts cropped.
  • Add captions in the Media Library when visitors need context on larger images.
  • Add a Simple Text Section nearby if the gallery needs explanatory text.
