Page Content Sections - News Teasers (3) Section

The News Teasers (3) Section shows up to three approved news items from selected categories as a compact row with a "View All News" link. It's great for home pages and landing pages where you want a quick preview rather than the full archive.

Adding one to a page

  1. Open the page and add a News Teasers (3) section in the content area.
  2. Enter a Section Title (internal only).
  3. Choose a Background Color (applied to each teaser item, not the entire section).
  4. Choose Border Options — no border, thin, thick, or mixed thickness.
  5. Add a Headline (the section header also includes the "View All News" link, so a headline works well here).
  6. Select one or more Categories (required — only active categories are available).
  7. Make sure Active is on.
  8. Save.

How it displays

  • Shows up to 3 matching items. If fewer match, it shows only those.
  • Pinned items appear first, then sorted by Published Date (newest first).
  • Each teaser shows the headline, published date, and blurb, linking to the full article.
  • Teaser images are not displayed in this section's current layout.
  • If no items match, the header and "View All News" link still appear.

Tips

  • Use categories deliberately if you want separate teaser rows for different types of updates.
  • Use matching border and background styles with Events Teasers or Promo Blocks for a consistent page design.
  • For a full news listing, use the News Section instead.
