Page Content Sections - Promo Blocks (3) Section

The Promo Blocks (3) Section (labeled "Promo Blocks, 3 Blocks" in the section menu) places up to three Promo Blocks together on a page. It's great for highlighting important pages, registrations, campaigns, or featured content.

Adding one to a page

  1. Make sure the promo blocks you want are set up and active.
  2. Open the page and add a Promo Blocks, 3 Blocks section in the content area.
  3. Enter a Section Title (internal only).
  4. Choose a Background Color — this affects hover overlays, borders, button styling, and text contrast.
  5. Choose a Template:
    • Vertical with image, headline, text and button — Shows everything
    • Vertical with headline, text and button — No image
    • Background image with headline centered on image — Image and headline only
    • Background image with headline at bottom on image — Image and headline only
  6. Select up to three promo blocks in Promos.
  7. Make sure Active is on.
  8. Save and review.

What each template shows

Template type Shows
Vertical with image Image, headline, text, button text
Vertical without image Headline, text, button text
Background-image templates Image and headline only

Every template uses the promo block's saved link. Blocks marked as external links open in a new tab.

Important details

  • You can display one, two, or three blocks — it doesn't have to be exactly three.
  • Blocks appear in the order selected in the section.
  • If a selected block is later deactivated, it stops displaying.
  • Blocks already placed in this section are excluded from sidebar promo rotation on the same page.

Tips

  • Keep the selected blocks closely related so the section feels intentional.
  • Use shorter headlines for background-image templates (they rely on the headline alone).
  • Make sure image-based blocks have strong, readable images before using image-focused templates.
