FAQs
Use FAQs to create reusable question-and-answer items that can be displayed on pages in an expandable list.
How FAQs work
- FAQ items are managed in FAQs
- if you want a full FAQ page, create or edit a normal page in Pages and add an FAQs Section
- FAQ sections pull items by selectedclubistry.admin-panel-access.html categories
- active FAQs use their saved sort order
- website output includes FAQ schema markup in addition to the visible questions and answers
Create or update an FAQ
- Go to FAQs in the Club Management Portal.
- Click Create FAQ, or open an existing FAQ to edit it.
- Enter the question and answer.
- Assign categories that match the pages where you want it to appear.
- Turn on Active when the FAQ is ready to show.
- Save the FAQ.
- Reorder FAQs in the list if needed.
- Review the page section where the FAQ appears.
Fields in FAQs
Question
Use Question for the text visitors click to open.
Tip:
- Write it the way a member would actually ask it.
Answer
Use Answer for the full response.
Helpful detail:
- The answer can include formatted content, links, and other helpful instructions.
Categories
Use Categories to group FAQs and connect them to FAQ sections on pages.
Helpful details:
- categories are shared with News and Events
- FAQ sections use selected categories to decide which items appear
- if you want one FAQ to appear in multiple places, assign all relevant categories
Active
Use Active as the main on/off switch for whether the FAQ can appear in sections.
Sort order
The FAQ list supports drag-and-drop sorting.
Helpful detail:
- Clubistry uses that saved order when it renders FAQs on the website.
Created At, Updated At, and Revision History
On the detail view, these help you review when an FAQ changed and what was updated.
Showing FAQs on the website
FAQs are usually displayed through the FAQs Section in a page's content area.
Helpful details:
- the section requires category selection
- only active FAQs in the selected categories are shown
- visitors see expandable question rows and can open answers as needed
- if you need an introduction above the FAQs, add a Simple Text Section before the FAQ section
If an FAQ is not showing
Check these items first:
- the FAQ is marked Active
- the FAQ has a category that matches the FAQs Section
- the page section itself is active
- the page was saved after the section was added or changed
- the FAQ order in the list still matches the order you want visitors to see
