Roster

The Roster is your club's member directory on the website. It's displayed through the Roster page section, typically on the seeded roster page under the Members area (alongside Member Dashboard and Member Profile).

Who sees what

Page permissions on the roster page control who can access it. Once someone can view the roster:

Regular members see the Member View.
Board and Admin members can switch between Member View and Board View. A notice on the page tells them which view they're using.

Roster settings

What appears on the roster is controlled in Roster Settings under Site Settings:

Membership Types to Include — Filters which membership types appear. If none are selected, all types are shown.
Member Roster Columns — Controls which columns appear in Member View.
Board Roster Columns — Controls which columns appear in Board View, which can include address fields not available in Member View.
Board View honors member privacy settings — When on, the Board View respects member privacy choices for email, phone, and address. When off, board members see contact information regardless.

Member Custom Fields configured for roster use are appended as additional columns.

Privacy

The roster respects privacy settings from the member profile:

Show Email Roster — Controls email visibility on the roster
Show Phone Roster — Controls phone visibility
Show Address Roster — Controls mailing address visibility

These are separate from board privacy settings (show_email_board, etc.), which affect the Board page.

CSV download

The roster includes a Download Roster (CSV) link. The download follows the same rules as the visible roster — it uses the current column settings, membership type filter, privacy rules, and custom field headings. It switches between member and board exports based on the current view. Board CSV downloads require board or admin access.

If something looks wrong

Wrong audience can see it: Check page permissions.
Missing columns: Check Roster Settings.
Missing contact info: Check member privacy settings on their profile.
Board view shows more/less than expected: Check the Board View honors member privacy settings toggle.
Missing members: Check the membership type filter in Roster Settings.
