Use Your Own Domain / Taking Your Site Live
Your club website is initially set up with a clubistry.com domain, e.g., https://ourclub.clubistry.com — this is also sometimes called a subdomain. This address can be used while you build out your club’s new website and get everything ready. You may continue to use this clubistry.com address if you wish! Or, when everything is good to go live with your website, you can use your own custom domain name, e.g., www.our-great-club.com.
To use your custom domain name, make sure you have it registered. If you have not yet registered your domain name, we recommend Namecheap as a registrar. We’re still putting the final ribbons and bows on the automated domain name configuration for Clubistry. In the meantime, when you’re ready to launch your website, just contact us. We’ll take care of the setup on our end, and provide you with the next-steps for your DNS settings at your registrar.
